Competition Terms and Conditions Ultimate Travel Group - January 2010 Win One of Four Ultimate Tremblant Ski Vacation
1. Entry into this promotion signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Each purchase of a Tremblant air inclusive ski package through Ultimate Travel Group / Ultimate Ski Vacations qualifies as one entry.
2. Entry open to all global residents, except where prohibited by law, aged 18 years or older who purchase a Tremblant ski vacation. Employees and immediate families of the Ultimate Travel Group and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences 10 January 2010 9:00am (Eastern Standard Time) and closes 6th of February 2010 at 09.59am (Eastern Standard Time).
4. The eligible entry will win roundtrip airfare from Toronto to Tremblant via Porter Airlines, 3 nights of accommodation, and 2 days lift tickets for two adults. Winning entry can choose to be refunded the airfare and 3 nights of accommodation and 2 days lift tickets for two adults or book a new package vacation for this winter season.There are a total of 4 prize packs to be won (one trip per week). Each prize pack will be delivered directly to the winner where possible.
5. In relation to the Tremblant Ski Trip for two, please note the following: International airfares, spending money, domestic airfares (other then what is listed), meals, travel taxes, passports, visas, extra baggage, transport to and from departure point and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion. The travel prize must be booked and taken by the end of the ski Tremblant’s ski season (approx. April 15 2010) Otherwise it will be deemed to be forfeited by the winner. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner. Please refer to Ultimate Travel Group’s Booking Terms and Conditions. Standard booking conditions apply. All components of the prize must be taken together or otherwise are deemed to be forfeited. Travel is subject to booking availability and blackout periods may apply. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other Ultimate Travel Group or third party discounts or special offers. Travel must be arranged by the winner contacting Ultimate Travel Group, quoting their full name and promotion name. Ultimate Travel Group will not contact the winner to arrange travel and this is the winner's responsibility. 6. The trip portion of the prize is valued at up to $2000 (Recommended Retail Price, not including local payment) Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
7. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Ultimate Travel Group reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel destination to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
8. Ultimate Travel Group may award the prize to the 1st runner up judged entry in order to award the prize if any of the 4 prize packs remain unclaimed. In the event of any winner in the unclaimed prize judging, the winner will be notified by email and the winner's name and locality will be published on www.ultimateski.ca
9. Ultimate Travel Group shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. Ultimate Travel Group will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of Ultimate Travel Group including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by Ultimate Travel Group in its absolute discretion.
10. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Ultimate Travel Group which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Ultimate Travel Group reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. Ultimate Travel Group also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who Ultimate Travel Group has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Ultimate Travel Groups legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
11. Ultimate Travel Group is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
12. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Ultimate Travel Group. Ultimate Travel Group collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist Ultimate Travel Group in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages. If you do not provide the information, you cannot participate. Ultimate Travel Group may publish or cause to be published the winner's name, and locality in any media as required under relevant legislation.
